The Literacy Group provides literacy and Essential skills upgrading to adults 18 years and older and can speak English fluently. Training is provided through volunteer tutors on a 1 to 1 basis and through small group participation facilitated by staff and/or a combination of both. Our services are free and are provided to adults in Kitchener, Waterloo Region and Cambridge. Programs focus on workforce skills, further training and education, numeracy, digital technology and oral and written communication upgrading. There is a strong referral system inplace with the college, universities, school board, employment and social services agencies.
