The Firehall Theatre Society produces,presents and promotes theatre,dance,inter-disciplinary,music and visual arts exhibitions,performances and eventsThe charity's work is reflective of the cultural pluralism of Canada & includes workshops,classes,lectures,performances,exhibitions and artistic residences.Over 300 performances/public events are held each year and over 6000 free tickets are given to social service groups & low income residents of the Downtown Eastside.The society maintains the 110-year-old building in which it resides.
