The Belfry Theatre produces contemporary theatre from the international repertoire with an emphasis on Canadian work. We offer a subscription series as well as bonus programming. In addition, our season includes a new work festival which showcases emerging artists from across Canada and features local practitioners. Our outreach programmes include: Belfry 101, an intensive workshop for high school students; Talk backs and afterplay discussions; professional development workshops; and Worldplay, a script reading series of plays from diverse cultures.
