Family and Children's Services Niagara provides mandated child welfare services to the Niagara Region including: the investigation of the possible abuse or neglect of children; child protection services; foster care; adoption services; counselling; support services; preparation for independence program for youth leaving home. Additionally, FCS provides voluntary/community programs including: child care centers; early years centers; mobile resource program; family counselling center; family violence programs; child abuseprograms; adult protective services program; volunteer program; summer camp; recreation and enrichment; bursary program for post secondary education
