Sunshine Centres for Seniors provides social, recreational, and health promotion programs for seniors and people with disabilities at eight wheelchair accessible locations. Programs are provided at our Yonge/Bloor Centre from October to April and at Camp Sunshine on Ward's Island from May to September. Other programs are offered at 325 and 375 Bleecker Street in St. Jamestown and 460 Jarvis Street in Toronto Community Housing buildings all year. We also provide a program at 252 Sackville, 250 Davenport and at 84 Carlton Street, a non-profit housing building for seniors and people with disabilities. We have two drop-in programs for the LGBTQ community. Sunshine Centres for Seniors has an active base of volunteers including 60 senior volunteers. The Centre operates in Toronto, Ontario.
