Services Provided by Southern Ontario Model United Nations Assembly
The Southern Ontario Model United Nations Assembly is a three-day international relations simulation for approximately 600 high school students held annually during mid April in downtown Toronto. Delegates gain a keen awareness of topics pertaining to international relations within the wider community, as well as a deep insight into the dynamics and inner mechanisms of the United Nations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies. SOMA provides delegates with an opportunity to debate the most pressing issues of our era currently confronting world leaders and to draft resolutions in response.
