To support the activities of the Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue Unit 37 Sooke. 1. To purchase and maintain emergency marine rescue vessels & pay all associated costs including moorage, boat maintenance, fuel, insurance, etc. 2. To purchase and maintain the equipment and facilities necessary to train, operate, and maintain marine rescue vessels. 3. To provide training and safety equipment to volunteer rescue team members. To recruit volunteers to be on call 24/7/365. 4. To educate members and the public in marinesafety.
