The Regina Early Learning Centre works cooperatively with low income families to provide programs which foster the healthy development of children from birth to five years of age. The Centre offers a 1/2 day program for our days a week for children 3 to 5 years of age. The program seeks to promote the all round development of the children with particular emphasis on the development of communications, skills, and nurturing of a strong sense of self esteem. Whenever possible parents are involved in their children's education. Family Support programs provide direct education. Parent As Teachers is a homevisiting program to families with children birth to three years of age to strengthen and support the parent/child bond. KidsFirst is a homevisiting program for families that are preparing or just after birth of a child. They offer families a range of services and support. The Early Years Family Centre is a community collaboration which has established the Early Years Family Centres to proved universal community based early childhood programming
