Resource Centre for the Arts is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development, promotion and presentation of performing arts and artists in Newfoundland & Labrador. Founded 45 years ago, RCA operates out of the Longshoreman's Protective Union Hall or the LSPU Hall, a registered heritage building in the heart of St. John's. The Hall is the heart and soul of the arts community of Newfoundland & Labrador. It is a community-based organization, governed by an elected Board of Directors, most of who are professional artists, arts administrators and professionals from the broader social and economic community. RCA has two arms to its organization: Hall Operations which manages the rental venue (the LSPU Hall) and RCA Theatre Company which develops and supports N & L artists and creates and produces new theatrical works.
