The Pregnancy Outreach Program operates 4 days a week.POP assists clients with strategies to improve nutrition and health,promotes early access to prenatal care,and provides counseling on prenatal health issues and care of infants. The Infant Development Program operates 5 days a week. IDP consultants support children from birth to 3 years who have identified disabilities or are at risk for developmental delays.Parents learn how to address their children's needs and the consultants support access to other services by making referrals.Groups offered include:Infant Massage,Mother Goose and Parents & Tots.Supported Child Development operates 5 days per week. CD Consultants and Support Workers provide identified children up to the age of 18 with the extra support they require to participate inclusively with peers in community childcare settings and other programs. The Youth Action Group provides fun,supervised programs for youth with special needs and their friendsThe Early Intervention Therapy Program operates 5 days per week. Occupational Therapy,Physiotherapy,and Speech-Language Pathology provide assessment and intervention services for children from birth to school entry. Therapy can include individual sessions as well as participation in different groupsfine motor,gross motor,and social communication skills.The School-Age Therapy program provides occupational or physiotherapy services to school age children as needed.
