The Catholic Charitable of the Archdiocese of Toronto provides health and social services in the Archdiocese through its twenty-six (26) member agencies and three (3) affiliated organizations. Services are delivered in a committed empowering way, reflecting the values and social mission of the Church. These agencies are funded at varying levels by the charity, and the balance of the funding comes from public and private sources. Catholic Charities and its member agencies provide many opportunities to volunteer in areas such as: work with elderly, children, families, those with special needs, young mothers, immigrant and refugees, etc. as well as on the Board of these agencies.
