New additions to the Library in 2016 included a gaming zone for teens, an IMac computer with a full suite of creation software, bookable study spaces, A new partnership was introduced in 2016 with our regional district to allow for free family passes to 10 cultural attractions in the area. 10 families borrowed the passes in 2016, many experiencing historical and other attractions for the first time. The Library participated in Northern Fancon, held a Mini Fancon for a younger crowd, and hosted a popular Job Chats for teens. A Everyday Experts series was very well received with experts from a wide range of fields sharing their knowledge.
