MADATE/MISSION: As a Centre for the celebration of sexual orientation and gender diversity, PTS serves a vibrant and diverse community through support, education and advocacy services. PTS strives in its work to empower all Queer people in greater Ottawa and to encourage their well-being and prosperity. EXISTING SERVICES: Gender Quest, SAGE, BiAmore, Women's Night, Men's Group. PTY, Celebrating Self, QPOC-IT, Polybilities, Parenting Group, TransAction Creative Support Group-all groups are run by volunteers and coordinated by the Volunteer and Programs Coordinator. RESOURCE PROGRAMS: Room rentals, Dr. Kelly McGinnis Library, Resource Directory, Community Calendar-each resource program is volunteer run and coordinated by PTS staff. EDUCATIONAL/OUTREACH PROGRAMS: Creating Safer Spaces, Queer Women's Health and Sexuality, TransAction, Professional Development Workshops. Outreach and workshops delivered by volunteers and coordinated by staff.
