Pacific Opera Victoria is one of Canada's leading opera companies and is noted for its commitment to diverse repertoire, original productions, dedication to Canadian artists, and leadership within the arts sector. We produce 3 mainstage operas per season and chose outstanding works shaped by the creative vision of our directors and designers and staged in Victoria's Royal Theatre, and brought to life by a collaboration of conductor and singers. Pacific Opera Victoria builds its own sets exclusively and maintains its own scene and costume shop. Our goal is to provide challenging artistic opportunities to artists at all stages of their careers. Our artist training programs offer important coaching and performance opportunities. We have a variety of education and outreach programs to enhance the operatic experience and engage audiences and the community in the power of the arts.
