The Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) facilitates dialogue and action to support public education in Ottawa. In partnership with local school boards, colleges, universities and other stakeholders, ONFE develops and implements collaborative initiatives that leverage community resources to support learning for K-12 students The School Breakfast program provides nutritious meals/snacks to children in need. Volunteers in Education and OttawaReads match community volunteers with schools to help ensure academic success. Technology Support Initiative provides technology support for learners. The Substance Abuse program facilitates community based prevention and counselling in Ottawa area schools. TechU.me helps students to develop technology skills while exploring STEM careers Junior Achievement promotes financial literacy and entrepreneurship to high school and elementary students
