North Shore Rescue Team Society is a
Community Resources Charity located in North Vancouver, BC.
Services Provided by North Shore Rescue Team Society
The Society provides for search and rescue of lost, stranded or injured persons in the local mountains and canyons; and to assist civil agencies during other emergencies and disasters. The program activities included a record number of more than 130 search and rescue operations involving more than 190 subjects and more than 9700 man hours of direct volunteer time plus extensive ongoing training programs for member volunteers and public education presentations on wilderness safety awareness.
