As in the past, as a high school, we appeal to businesses and individuals in our community to contribute to our prize and scholarship fund. The purpose of this fund is to reward graduating students for obtaining high marks and to assist grads (financially) who will pursue post-secondary education. Our campaign consists of letters and phone calls to former and potentially new donors. In mid to late May, a list of available scholarships is posted/circulated for students to apply for. A committee (compromised of administration and guidance) reviews the student applications, then awards the prizes/scholarships based on need, academic accomplishment, etc.
