To carry on without pecuniary gain, objects of a charitable charter or the like related directly or indirectly to the field of health and welfare. It is hereby ordained and declared that the corporation shall carry on without pecuniary gain and operate exclusively in Canada as a charitable organization for the benefit of the residents of Manitoba; to administer and employ its property, assets and rights for the sole purpose of promoting or aiding charitable activities related directly or indirectly to the field of health and wellbeing carried on by the corporation or by making gifts to other such charitable organizations in Canada for the benefit of the residents of Manitoba; to receive and to maintain a fund or funds and apply from time to time all or part thereof and/or income therefrom in furtherance of the above charitable purposes; and for the attainment of the above objects: (1) To provide funds for the purpose of providing auxiliary health services, supplies and appliances in the preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative care of persons or groups of persons who are residents of Manitoba.
