We stage an annual music festival in February/March of each year for over 1000 participants. There are 10 committee members (all volunteers) who plan this festival, and more than 40 other volunteers help to stage it each year. Well over 1000 volunteer hours go into staging the festival. Scholarships and awards are presented to qualified participants who receive high grades from the adjudicators. Recommended participants go on to the Provincials put on by the Alberta Music Festival Association. Young musicians compete in different disciplines - Piano, Strings, Stringed Orchestra, Speech, Band, Instrumental, Vocal, Choral, Musical Theatre, Guitar and Pipe Organ.
