1.Protect,conserve,rehabilitate and enhance the environment and promote community sustainability. 2.Provide activities to educate the communities about cultural and economicvalues of the natural environment and wildlife. 3.Increase public understanding and support for cultural and historic role of forests and other natural environments in British Columbia,including without limitation,the relationship to First Nations and the environmental legacy in BC. 4.Co-operate and create partnerships with public,private,national and global organizations that support our mandate and build capacity. FORED volunteers including accountants,lawyer,educators,academics,business leaders and First Nations support our activities through provision of in-kind expertise and outreach.
