The Society continued to deliver a broad range of programs which are sensitive to the needs of the culturally diverse community. As well, we deliver programs and activities designed to facilitate immigrants, visible minorities, first generation Canadians and their families in becoming full and equal members of Canadian society. Through our programs we informed and sensitized the region on immigration, settlement, integration and multicultural issues and we promoted the elimination of racism and facilitated organizational and institutional change.
