The Islington Seniors' Centre provides social, recreational and support programs for seniors which includes crafts, games, fitness, day-trips and educational programs. Support services include a foot clinic and income tax clinic. We offer a subsidized lunchroom daily and we host a half-day congregate dining program for frail-elderly twice a week. We sell seniors' bus tickets for the convenience of our members. We have approximately 133 individuals that volunteer as instructors. receptionists, hostesses, conveners as well as assisting with fundraising and committee duties.
