We operate and maintain a place of worship and offer weekly Friday sermons and worship as well as sermons, worship and fellowship throughout the year at times of religious significance, e.g. Ramadan. We hold an annual conference to educate and increase the understanding of Islam to the Canadian Muslim community and the wider Canadian community. We operate a multi-use community centre where the Canadian Muslim community has the benefit of receiving fellowship and services rooted in the Islamic tradition, e.g. matrimonial services, education about the hajj pilgrimage, funeral services, community outreach and community information and resources etc. We operate a food bank and community kitchen for the benefit of the poor and those who are in need. We provide support and assistance to those of low of modest income, including disabled persons and senior citizens within the Canadian Muslim community in accordance with Islamic principles. We provide capacity building resources, such as administrative, property management and accounting services to other Islamic charities in the surrounding community. We provide information, guidance and oversight about halal certification program We provide family counseling services to the communities.
