We had been hoping to undergo our Cenotaph restoration last year but time restraints in receiving grants make it impossible for us to secure the Contract. However this year construction will commence In June and we have already started the invitations to al family descendants to come again to Hedley to rededicate our Cenotaph in August. We are in process of constructing new display cabinets that are easier for our aging volunteers to handle. The funds in the Cenotaph account we are reporting have been decreased in the amount of $9.060.00 as a downpayment on the repairs. This cheque was written in March, 2017.
