Aboriginal Mentoing Program Similar to our Teen Mentoring Program, this is a group mentoring program designed specifically for Aboriginal youth. In partnership with Red Fox Healthy Living Society, Aboriginal youth receive training and practical work experience in the field of youth work. The training focuses on leadership skills, boundaries and safety, heritage and diversity, working with children, healthy living, effective communication, and self-expression. Throughout the training, these youth are matched with elementary school-aged children in "active play" programs where they enact the mentorship skills they learn in the training.
