GOVRC Workshop provides vocational training for mentally challenged adults with the ultimate goal being employment in the workforce and independent living. Skills are taught through two programs: 1. Woodworking-manufacture & sell pallets (skids); manufacture & sells survey stakes; manufacture & sells mouldings, rosettes, flooring & recycle (repair) & sell hardwood pallets. 2. Contracts- grow & sells bedding plants; process, package & sell summer savory, do a mailout contract; packaging, assembling & collating & make & sells floral baskets.
