Promote growth and development of children by providing the opportunity for one-to-one friendships with adults. Traditional matches are one child to one adult in a weekly meeting setting. Occasional Big Bunch program takes children from waiting list to an event arranged by BBBS Peterborough . The In-School-Mentoring program matches an adult and a child for one hour a week in-schools. The Go-Girls program matches a young female adult with a small group of 5-8 senior female elementary school students in a school setting to provide 'healthy-body-healthy-mind' programming over a ten week period. The Game-On program matches a young male adult with a small group of 5-8 senior make elementary school students in a school setting to provide 'healthy-body-healthy-mind' programming over a ten week period. The Camp-Ponacka program is designed to cover the cost of sending current 'Littles' to a camp-program sponsored by BBBS alumni (previous 'littles').
