Services Provided by Foundation For The Study Of Processes Of Government In Canada-Fondation Pour L'etude Des Processurs De Government Au Canada
The Foundation for the Study of Processes of Government in Canada is a non-for-profit registered charitable organization founded in 1975. Its goal is to foster an understanding among Canadians of the role and function of Canada's three levels of democratic government, while promoting awareness of the meaning of Canadian citizenship. The Foundation's program Forum for Young Canadians serves to foster leadership skills in young Canadians. Participants are given opportunities to learn about governance, democracy, and citizenship; they meet with influential figures in Canadian public life, while getting to know other young people with interests similar to their own. Our key goal is to offer individuals greater knowledge and deeper understanding of the constitution of Canada and of the process of government and its interaction with people of Canada, and of the meaning and responsibilities of citizenship.
