Provide a shelter and counselling to abused women and their children by:1. Providing appropriate referrals to community agencies and liaison with agencies;2. Crisis prevention by telephone for non-resident clients;3. On-the-job training for nurses, child-care workers and social services students;4. Provide a follow-up program assisting women and children in their transition to independent living;5. Provide affordable housing and housing for the homeless.
