Regular facilitated Support Circles across BC for parents and grandparents raising grandchildren (GRG); province-wide phone/e-mail support line for kinship care providers; volunteer facilitator recruitment, training and support; needs assessment and community development regarding parenting issues; parenting education workshops; parenting resource development and distribution; annual GRG family picnics and other recreational events; individual support, individual support, information and referral; development/maintenance of support community partnerships; develop/maintain: website, newsletters, Facebook, web based forums; collaboration on community development activities to prevent child abuse. We were supported by over 200 dedicates volunteers during this period who donated over 6,300 hours of their time.
