1. We offer Strengthening Families Together which is a 10 week,psycho-educational course for families of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. 2. We offer a Respite Care Program which is temporary short-term care,designed to give relief and support to a primary family caregiver. 3. We offer a monthly Saturday Support Group for family members and friends of persons experiencing early onset psychosis. 4. We have family support groups in both Victoria and Salt Spring Island that meet on a regular basis. 5. We offer partnership presentations to educate the public about schizophrenia and other major mental illnesses. There are also public educational workshops provided. 6. We serve as an information and referral centre for people in recovery and families. This includes an extensive resource library,web site and newsletter. 7. We offer peer support programs for people in recovery and family members. 8. We offer short-term Family Counselling. 9. Application can be made to the Memorial Fund for financial assistance by family members and individuals suffering from schizophrenia or other seri
