Library Services for the residents of the City of Barrie and Township of Oro Medonte. Over 100 volunteers assist the Library annually contributing over 600 hours per month by running the Library's cafe,boutique and assisting in operations by shelf reading the collection. Volunteers also deliver material for Library patrons who are not able to come to the Library. The annual Dragon boat festival is facilitated by the Library, run by a volunteer committee and supported by sponsors throughout the community which provides fundraising and awareness for several charities throughout the community. Planned giving is ongoing.
