District B Hospital Trust Fund was established to provide the means to provide comfort, recreation and the treatment of Veterans in the Veterans Section & Western Counties Wing of Parkwood Hospital London Ontario, Sunnybrook Hospital Toronto Ontario and any Veterans Affairs Canada sponsored bed in Ontario. Also to provide the same to any veteran who is home bound or in a nursing home or long term care facility in Ontario and for support for the Royal Canadian Legion Bursary Program to help students of veterans, and to support the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command Poppy Fund for the care and comfort of veterans and their families.
