TO FURTHER THE AWARENESS OF THE VALUE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION; TO CO-ORDINATE THE EFFORTS AND ADAPT STANDARDS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. The original objects of the Association established by Supplementary Letters Patent on the twenty-ninth day of Septermber, 1969 are: i. To make known to parents and the general public the value of Early Childhood Education; ii. To work for the adoption of standards acceptable to the Association for staffing and equipping schools for Early Childhood Education; iii. To co-ordinate the efforts of parents, professional workers and all those interested in Early Childhood Education; iv. To certify and keep a register of qualified pre-school teachers.
