This charity operates the John and Douglas Kindergarten, a preschool program for children from low income families. Classes are held throughout the regular school year from September though June. Instructions and programs are prescribed in co-ordination with the Community Services Department of Nova Scotia. There is one teacher with a maximum of twenty-four students, twelve in the morning and twelve in the afternoon. We closed at the end of March this year due to illness of the teacher.
