Investigate allegations that children may be in need of protection/provide guidance, counselling & other services to families for protection of children & for the prevention of circumstances requiring protection of children. Protect when necessary/supervise children in their own home when they have been assigned by the Family Court to the Society's supervision as a child in need of protection under the Child and Family Services Act/care for children committed under the Child & Family's Services Act to the Society's care/place children for adoption.
