There are several unique functions that the Alliance seeks to fulfill in support of Catholic health care at a pan-Canadian level. The focus areas are: ethics, and building capacity in ethics services; mission and values promotion; and promoting and encouraging the development of compassionate responses to current and emerging needs, with particular attention to the most vulnerable and marginalized in our society.
