CSIH organizes events that facilitate networking, dialogue, and knowledge brokering on issues of global health. This includes annually convening the Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) as well as coordinating and supporting national and international networks on issues of global public health importance that align with Canadian priorities. Outside of Canada, CSIH implements projects that advance equity-based approaches to health systems strengthening and capacity building or organizations and individuals. on priority health themes. CSIH also develops global health leaders through its MentorNet initiative, which increases students and young professionals understanding of the breadth of the global health field through knowledge transfer between new and experienced professionals.
