MASS CULTURE CANADA is a

The Organization was previously engaged in research, analysis and response to key issues affecting the arts and cultural sector. In addition to substantive policy research, we also provided input to the development of federal cultural policy, arm the sector with information during elections and other campaigns, and respond to breaking news and hot-button issues influencing the sector. The Organization ceased active operations as of November 14, 2012 due to funding restrictions, but is maintaining its charitable status in hopes that it can be resurrected in the future to carry out its mandate. The Organization is continuing two activities dispite having no active operations: analysis of the Federal and Provincial Budgets. The Organization engages subcontracts to perform the analysis; a portion of the expenses are covered by the Organizations's partners: Saskatchewan Arts Alliance and the Canadian Arts Coalition.
