CABE is a community-based organization that focuses on culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy, as well support for parents, educators and stakeholders who have interests in advancing educational success for African Canadian students. When provided with positive direction and a nurturing environment, our students can make significant contributions to Canadian society. The organization's goals and objectives include: Examination of the process of accommodation of Black students at all levels in the Canadian school system: Taking the necessary initiative to facilitate the ease of process and ensure optimal participation: Organize, collect, interpret, disseminate and act upon information on Black people in the education system: To stimulate increased involvement in leadership positions in educational bodies at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
