When the Museum re-opens, the Society anticipates that it will resume offering short rides to the public on the Museum trackage. The Society publishes a magazine 6 times a year and it is distributed to over 1,000 readers. The Society also publishes books on railway history. The Society maintains an extensive archive of railway history. The Society has 10 meetings a year for the membership at which information on railways is provided through speakers and visual presentations. The Society maintains a website in which information on railways is provided to the public. The Society is also present at several public venues throughout the year.
