We are a Non-for-Profit organization rather than a charity. We are a regional museum open to the public 6 days a week in the summer, 5 days a week in the winter. We provide facilities for historical education and research, including public digital access to our artifact and archival collections online. We produce new temporary exhibitions each year which showcase aspects of our regional history and compliment our permanent exhibitions. We provide a yearly scholarship to a high school graduating student with an interest in history. We currently have 15 active volunteers who contribute hundreds of hours of volunteer time each year.
