British Columbia Indian Language Project is a

During the year, the Charity continued to answer queries and distribute educational materials, including tape-recordings, reportsbooks and documents relating to the Aboriginal languages, cultures and histories of British Columbia's First Nations. Thesematerials were provided to members of Indian Bands and their administrators, to governments and corporations, and to the generalpublic. Additionally, the Society engaged in documenting similar materials with First Nations' elders. Advice was also given to Nativepeople concerning their genealogical history. As well, the Charity continued processing previously recorded materials.
