In 2016, Rigatoni for Research event returned during the year whereby proceeds from the event fund pediatric brain tumour research through Brain tumour Foundation of Canada. Other new events include Alliance Data MG for Kaiden's journey to raise awareness of brain cancer, and Ten 4 Ten event where 10 staff members and students at the school shave their heads to raise money for the Brain Tumour Foundation.
