Dementia Friendly Communities program: helps people with dementia and the family and friends who assist them to feel included and supported in the places where they live, work and play. The project reaches out to the general public, organizations, businesses and community services with education and consultation leading to the specific community group developing a tailored approach that will lead it to greater respectful interaction with people impacted by dementia.
