Annual lottery, fundraising and community donations: 1) to establish, develop and promote interest in a community centre; 2) to provide for the holding of public meetings, classes and conferences for the benefit of the community as a whole including all items of a recreational nature; and 3) to establish, construct, operate, maintain, equip and direct a community hall and civic centre for the benefit of the community as a whole. During the prior fiscal year the Organization turned over the physical assets andoperation of the Prince of Wales Community Centre to the Town of Assiniboia and will be moving forward with the specific goal of raising funds for the construction of a new Civice Centre/arena.
