The Gallery offered a variety of programs in the past year including: Summer Camps, a Rheostatics concert, our sold out First Thursdays and exhibitions such as From the Forest to the Sea: "..." in British Columbia, "...", Picturing the Americas: Landscape Painting from Tierra del Fuego to the Artic, Camera Atomica, J.M.W.Turner: Painting Set Free, and many more. We launched new hours of operations to meet the needs of our visitors. Construction began on the Grange Park Revitalization Project, and through collaborative discussions with the City of Toronto and the local community we created a plan that is visionary, beautiful and unique. The park will be accessible, sustainable and will be a magnet not only for our local community but also for gallery visitors, patients from and visitors to the many hospitals up and down University Avenue and of course our next door neighbour OCADU. We continue to build a strong exhibition program not only for this year but through 2020 that will include exciting exhibitions such as: The Idea of North: The Paintings of Lawren Harris and Mystical Landscapes: Masterpieces from Monet, van Gogh, and soon to open Theaster Gates: How to Build a House Museum.
