Armagh is a non-profit, Second-Stage Supportive Transitional Housing program for women and their children who have experienced violence or abuse. Armagh accepts referrals from the local crisis shelters and the Peel Children's Aid Domestic Violence Team. Services include supportive transitional housing for up to one (1) year less a day; individual and group counselling; legal support, housing support, self-esteem, parenting, life skills and support programs for both women and children, advocacy, referrals about community resources and outreach follow up for women and their children for up to one more year when they leave. Armagh has 9 units/apartments and can accommodate up to nine women and 31 children at any given time.
