Education and outreach programs continue and evolve to be inclusive of broader demographic groups. The Alberta Wilderness Resource centre and library development and maintenance is ongoing. Conducting educational and interpretive programs and presentations with expert speakers on conservation and wilderness for members and the general public included walks, talks, school and university presentations and more. Production of AWA's journal wild lands advocate continued. Hold earth day event for 25th year to help others learn about wild Alberta. Website maintenance and updating routinely to ensure up to date resources. Kids wildness defenders camp for children 6-12 excellent outreach opportunity for children to learn about wildness. Research and trail monitoring continued all programs depend on volunteerism, a dedicated core made a difference this year.
