2015-15 saw our athletes and coaches training and preparing for the 2016 Winter National Games hosted by CornerBrook, Nfld. Special Olympics Alberta sent 95 athletes and coaches from across the province. In partnership with Alberta School Athletic Association, we launched Unified Sports which helped us reach seven schools in Calgary and Edmonton and gain 82 athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to bring inclusion to a new level.
